What’s the scoop on Ninja Creme
The NINJA CREAMI ICE CREAM MANIFESTOR IS A MAGICAL LITTLE MACHINES THAT BRINGS ICE CREAM CREAMING RIGHT TO YOUR KITCHEN. But does it live up to the hype? I WAS SKEPTICAL BECAUSE SO MANY TIKTOK TIKTOK VIDEOS CLAIMED TO HAVE PERFORMED MIRACLES.
I BOUGHT A NINJA CREAM MACHINE TO REPRODUCE THE MOST POPULAR RECIPE AND GIVE YOU ALL HONEST COMMENTS. Plus, I’ll be working on some of my recipes that I actually like and recommend making!
How does it work
OUT OF THE BOX, IT’S SUPER USER-FRIENDLY, MAKING IT EASY FOR BEGINNERS TO USE. The machine comes assembled and requires no setup. You’ll receive the device and three plastic pints. You can use the PINTS to freeze your recipe and make sorbet, ice cream, smoothies, milkshakes, etc.
You’ll also receive a recipe book – this is a great place to start because you’ll get a better idea of how it works & the different combinations you can build on. THE RECIPES VARY FROM A ONE-INGREDIENT CAN OF FRUIT SORBET TO MORE ADVANCED VERSIONS.
After you have combined your ingredients, you must freeze the pint container for 24 hours. This is a required step. It’s a little annoying but necessary. So, I RECOMMEND DOING A FEW DIFFERENT PINTS AT A TIME.
ONCE YOUR BATCH IS FULLY FROZEN, REMOVE THE LID, PLACE IT INTO THE OUTER BOWL ATTACHMENT & SCREW ON THE LID. Load it into the machine and select the type of frozen dessert you’re making.
So far, I haven’t made a recipe that doesn’t require “re-spinning” at least 2 or 3 times. It takes about 5 minutes.
Tips for making the best NINJA CREAMI Ice Cream
NOW THAT YOU KNOW THE BASICS, HERE ARE A FEW TIPS TO HELP YOU MAKE THE BEST NINJA CREAMI ICE CREAM.
CHILL, CHILL, AND CHILL: MAKE SURE THAT YOUR PINT HAS BEEN FIRED PERFECTLY BEFORE STARTING.
Embrace the Creaminess: A SMOOTH AND CREAMY Ice Cream is achieved by adding HEAVY CREME to your recipe.
If your ice cream is still a bit crumbly after spinning it, then you can repeat the process. If it’s still not the right texture, add a splash of liquid. The best option is CREAM, but JUICES and protein shakes also work.
Get creative: Experiment with different flavors, mix-ins, and toppings. A MIX-IN CAN TRANSFORM ANY RECIPE. If your base is boring and lacking flavor, you can fix it by adding a mix in!
Pre-freeze your mix-ins: If you’re adding solid mixes like chocolate chunks or nuts, pre-freeze them before adding them to the machine.
INGREDIENTS MATTER. I DO NOT CARE WHAT TIKTOK SAYS; YOU CAN NOT TRANSFORM SOMETHING THAT YOU DON’T LIKE BY YOURSELF WITH THE MACHINE. It’s a great gadget, but it won’t turn water into wine. A CANNON OF PEACHES IN WATER TASTES LIKE METALLIC WATERING WHEN FREEZED. You’d need to add sugar or some other ingredient to change the way it tastes.
How does the NINJA CREAMI compare to other ice cream makers
I also have the KITCHENAID Ice Cream Maker Attachment. The main difference is that you have to freeze the metal bowl, not the mixture. It works, but it’s hard to find space in my freezer for a giant KITCHENAID BOWL.
The CREAMI requires the ice cream mixture to be frozen, but you don’t have to freeze any part of the machine. This means you can make multiple recipes a day. You can even buy extra containers to use & freeze.
Other ice cream makers and machines also take a lot longer – think 20 to 30 minutes! The NINJA only takes 3-5 minutes.
A FEW CREAMI NOTES
The NINJA CREAMI HAS GROWN TO BE A VIRAL HACK FOR HEALTHY DIET ICE CREAMS. While I don’t subscribe to a specific diet culture or promote a particular diet, I am all for finding healthier options & healthier recipe alternatives! But I also don’t encourage deprivation or the idea of not “treating yourself” in moderation.
There are a lot of low-calorie, dairy-free, high-protein ice creams on the market. If you’ve ever tried them, you know they can end up with freezer burn. This is because they are not usually made with full-fat milk and contain more water. When the ice cream changes temperature, meaning it melts and is frozen again, you end up with FREEZER BURN / ICY Ice Cream.
With the Ninja, you can make freshly churned ice cream. If you use a DAIRY-FREE, NON-FAT, or LOW-FAT RECIPE, then the freezer burn effect will not occur. This is the “miracle” you’ve heard people talk about on the internet! The consistency and texture are better – you could use the same ingredients or recipe as a brand like HALO Top & the result would be different because you won’t get that freezer burn!
I THINK THAT IT IS REALLY COOL TO BE ABLE TO COME UP AND MAKE YOUR RECIPE. You can use your favorite sweeteners, fruits, dairy or non-dairy bases, etc. You can choose the ingredients that suit your taste and lifestyle.

But a lot of the recipes I’ve tried from TikTok have been pretty terrible. This is because people are more interested in getting views and followers than they are in actually liking what they make. It’s a kind of shock value reaction – people sharing their hacks in the hope that others will engage.
I DID NOT LIKE THE RECIPE FOR PEACHES IN WATER. It tasted terrible. But I was able to fix it by adjusting the recipe. The creaminess and sweetness were improved by adding coconut cream. The claim is that it’s low calorie – so adding juice, sweetened condensed milk, cream, etc. will increase the calories.
It’s not as amazing as people claim, but it isn’t terrible either. I HONESTLY THINK THAT YOU NEED TO ADD SOMETHING LIKE SUGAR-FREE PUDDING MIX TO THICKEN THE CHOCOLATE MILK. On its own, it’s a little watery.
