If you don’t know what to wear, here are some tips

Let’s first address the elephant in our room. What do you wear when YOU don’t know what to wear? Here are some tips:

Breathe deeply. Seriously? We can get so overwhelmed that we forget to breathe. Deep breathing will give our brains the oxygen they need to be able to think rationally, even when we’re stressed. It also stimulates our parasympathetic system. Who knew that deciding what to put on could be so stressful? As with other areas of life, overwhelm and decision fatigue can sneak up on us and show themselves in seemingly innocent situations like getting dressed for the day. Try taking a few deep breaths first.

It’s tempting to throw everything out of your closet. There’s no reason to spend all your money on a new wardrobe. Make do. You’ll be surprised at how easy it is!

Wear your favorite earrings. Please do it. You’ll look and feel at least 10 percent more stylish when you wear your favorite earrings. Feeling more put together is good for the brain, my love, and it gets us closer to an overall look that we like.

Check out the weather. Nothing is more frustrating than being caught in your suede boots during a rainstorm. If you are aware of the weather, choosing an outfit is much easier.

Decide what you need to wear for the day. Do you dress for work? Are you going to be at home? Are you heading out to do errands today? Today’s blog post covers these five categories.

Casual

Everyday style

Workwear

Special Events (dates, parties, etc. )

Are you a fan of a particular jacket? Maybe you have a favorite pair that makes your butt look great? Try to look at the piece with new eyes before you dismiss it as something you’ve worn hundreds of times. Why not wear that jacket with the sleeves rolled up? You could also cuff your jeans and switch out your ballet flats with stiletto heels. Why not pair those pearl earrings with a worn-out leather jacket you love? Consider your wardrobe as a repurposing center, and be creative with items you may have written off in the past. It can be fun to try to find new ways to wear old pieces. Why not try it? If Kate Middleton is able to do it, then why can’t you?!

Let’s move on to the important stuff.

We’ve divided this post into five categories. In each class, you will find three outfit ideas, complete with simple substitutions and quick ideas to spark your imagination. Let’s get started.

Wear cute tees to flatter your figure

Need a quick casual look? This simple outfit will not let you down, whether you’re lounging around at home, staying at a friend’s apartment,t or taking a stroll in the neighborhood. We have some advice on how to create a casual ensemble that you can wear in different ways and play with. Stock up on t-shirts you like.

You can choose from a variety of necklines, including boat neck, crewneck, v-neck, and more. Then, decide what kind of sleeves look best on you. What about a cap sleeve? Folded over and short? Long? After you have figured out these variables, you will spend less time trying to figure out what you want to wear and more time getting ready and going out the door.

Start with your favorite T-shirt and pair it with your jeans. Then, slip on some trainers. But the real magic lies in accessories and grooming. So add some nail polish, a few chunky bracelets, and a signature watch.

Try a button-down with a cool print

Switch out your graphic tees with a button-down in a funky pattern. You can find one in your mother’s closet or at your local thrift shop.

Layer a dress over a crew neck tee

Tired of wearing leggings and tee shirts? Replace them with a little black dress worn over a crewneck. You can also wear long sleeves, depending on the temperature. You can wear any little black dress. Here’s how to layer your clothes like a pro.

Swap jeans for bow-tie pants

To have a great sense of style, you need to keep things fresh by trying out new trends. These tie pants look great with a boat neck top tucked into them. Statement earrings are the key to this look, so go through your jewelry and find some!

Add some color to your basic outfits

Add a piece of bright color to your basic outfit (jeans with a white top). You could wear a jacket or a cardigan. Your business is now cute and well-put together. You could also use a fun print.

Dress up in sneakers and a dress

Give your feet comfort by putting down the heels. You can wear any sneakers. Accessorize your look with a statement handbag and sunglasses to make it extra stylish.

Rock your jeans

Suppose you’re looking for a way to dress up your curvy jeans; pair them with a structured blouse and a fun jacket. If you don’t have a velvet blazer, then a blazer of a bright color will work just as well. Accessorize the look with statement jewelry, and finish it off with peep-toe heels.

Wear neon colors

Try a neon orange pencil skirt instead of your boring, plain dresses. Consider pairing a neon top with neutral pants if you don’t own one. Think of opposite colors: orange goes well with navy blue.

Wear your favorite color dress

Each of us has a favorite color or a color that makes us look amazing. Wearing a dress that you love is our first tip to create a look for an event. For now, think of bright and bold colors and avoid neutrals. You can pair this look with nude heels for a stunning date or party outfit.
